What a pleasure to grab some amazing musicians a do a backyard hymn sing. In the South Carolina summer, it was, no doubt, incredibly hot. But our friend Dawn has a beautiful property with great shade and plenty of watermelons and lemonade. I brought a few copies of The Simple Hymnal, (now called " The Musician's Hymnal ") we just played through a bunch of hymns. It was a great time and I'd love to do it again.
